The new academic year starts from July, 2026. Apply before 30th May, 2026 to secure your seat.

Eligibilty

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50%.
Candidates appearing for their Semester VI summer examinations can also apply, but their admission will be provisional and it will only be finalised on clearing Semester VI examinations and submitting the mark-sheets of Semester I- VI.

The registration fee payable for the application is Rs. 1500/-

Before filling out the SCM Sophia admission form, please ensure you have clear scanned copies (in JPEG or PDF format) of the following documents ready for upload:

A Handwritten essay on yourself which should include your PERSONAL reasons for applying to this course. NOT MORE THAN 500 words.
A typed BIODATA
Passport-sized Photograph (Recent, formal)
Bachelor’s Degree Marksheet (Final year or latest semester)
Proof of Graduation (Provisional certificate if final not available)
Category Certificate (If applicable – SC/ST/OBC)
Your registration fee receipt for Rs. 1500/-.

Entrance Exam

All candidates have to appear for an online personal interview. They have to complete an assignment set at the interview.
The schedule for the interview will be communicated one week in advance to the applicants.
No prior studying is required for the test. Students will be tested on their knowledge of current affairs in society and the media.

The classes for the new academic year will begin by the first week of July. The actual date will be communicated once it is finalised.
